As I’m starting to round out all of the gutting and renovation part of the project, I can finally start turning my attention to the fun part: decorating! Finally making this house look like a home.
There are so many different directions I can take, so I started putting together a few different mood boards to help guide me. The first one is a jungle bungalow inspiration (of course!) with lots of whites, neutrals and greens. This look is bright and minimalistic with some dark accents to break it up and wood tones to keep everything warm.
I’m thinking of painting the walls white, and so I’ve been collecting color swatches and will be testing a few colors on the walls to make my final decision in the next few days! The list of things I need to do is long before I can even start putting furniture in the house. But each step in the renovation process brings me closer to designing how everything will come together. I know I may be jumping the gun on shopping, but I just can’t help it! I’m so eager to get to this part so this is what I’m envisioning if I go with the Jungle Bungalow theme. Let me know what you think!
Sharing the next few mood boards soon!
