IT’S DONE!!! Did I finish in 3 days like I sought out to do?
Kind of. I’d say pretty much! Everything was painted and installed by Day 3. Day 3.5 was more about the finishing touches, styling and organizing the office supplies. I didn’t expect to get my rug so soon, it said it would get here next week. But it’s here and so is the reveal!

YAY!!! It feels like a new space just in time for me to start my new job next week. I think my favorite part of the room is the desk. It is long and spacious so it can fit my monitors and laptop stand, AND still have room for crafting. You can see how I built the desk here in my Part 2 post.

The closet doors though… it does compete for that #1 spot. When you didn’t have closet doors for a while, you can totally take for granted how necessary it is for your sanity. I mean we didn’t have them the whole time we lived here in over a year and so we would just always stare at the storage items we stuffed in there. Very unsightly. And now the doors just hide the mess. 🙂 We’ll have to come back for a closet reorg another day. Maybe even paint the doors. Again… that’s for another day.

Let’s also do a side by side comparison for fun!

Here is the mood board for this room. I think it comes pretty close, huh?

Let me know what you think! I’d love to do a 2nd update of this room down the road with a few minor touches here and there. What would you add?

This is such a beautiful makeover. I love the look of your green drawers. I need to get this in my kitchen. A fresh cabinet painting is up next on my to-do list. Thanks for the inspiration!
